Your mother died when you were very young. So young, in fact, that you have no memories of her. Although your father has done his best to answer your questions, it’s clear that she was his one great love and he will never fully recover from the loss. You’ve grown up without photos around the house, and the mental image you have of your mother is a blurry one.
One day you’re browsing books on the shelf, when the photo below falls out. It’s a touching glimpse of the very few days your mother had with you before she got seriously ill. What is going through your mind?

You’re driving along out in the country, when suddenly, you realize that you’re out of gas. There’s nothing around for miles, save for an old country cemetery. It will be dark soon, and you’ve heard of dangerous characters who lurk in the area at night, looking for stranded travelers. What happens next? Do you keep walking? Do you hide? Do you encounter anyone?

It was to be the trip of a lifetime. 3 months to study the arts in Paraguay. One afternoon, you found yourself sitting in a cafe reading one of your course books and sipping a coffee. The sun was shining, the city was humming along, and you were overcome with the feeling that all was right in the world.
Suddenly, a stern-looking man approaches your table and sets down his coffee. What is he doing? Does he sit down with you? Who is he?

You’re walking down the street and you see a child blowing on a pinwheel. It reminds you of a time long ago…back when you were just a child. What are you thinking about? Who were you with? How did you feel? How does it make you feel now?

You’re standing near the water on a crowded San Francisco pier. Suddenly, a seagull swoops down from above and stops right next to you. He looks at you in that funny way that only seagulls can master, and as you stare back, you notice something on his leg – it’s a tiny scroll, secured with a ribbon.
The scroll contains a message. What does it say? Is it for you? What does it mean?
